Uptown Maternity | Charlotte Pregnancy Photographer

An Uptown Charlotte, edgy, payful, sultry, and gorgeous maternity session up on the blog!

This sessions was so much fun for me and Mom!  We decided met at Independence Park in Uptown just because a in mid December, the greenery and foliages is gone. Independence Park has some neat architecture and or cause the city skyline!

This couple is so much fun together.  They have so much chemistry togethers, it was like I wasn’t even there!  Their sweet girl did wonderful for some photos, and Dad was smart and brought a stomp rocket to play with while we finished photos with mom.  That stomp rocket kept her entertained the entire rest of the session!  We started with some photos in casual clothing, and if you can see the message on her maroon t-shirt, you may chuckle a little.  We next did some more playful photos of Mommy to be in her intimate wear and she rocked it!  She mentioned she was from Germany and Europeans were not modest 🙂  We even got a few very quick shots of her topless which really show her beautiful shape!

Next, Mommy to be out on a few beautiful maternity gowns from Chicaboo.  We chose the Harper dress in Amber gold, and then we thought ti would be fun to layer it with the Zoe skirt in Merlot.  I would have never thought to mix the colors, but I love it!   I also made the flower crown to complete the look.  This girl looks good in ANYTHING!  The Amber Gold color was perfect with her skin tone.  We did a variety of poses with the Harper dress and then we added the skirt for a more dramatic look.  Mom loved both these gowns and said she felt like a goddess.  It’s also great that she was able to wear her sneakers since the dresses are long and cover the feet!  Beautiful and comfortable!

For the last photo, we walked to the other side of the park to get a city skyline of Uptown Charlotte. The wind was light but just enough to allow the skirt to flow.  For one photo, I  had Dad to be throw the dress in the air to make it extra dramatic.  The wind caught the skirt perfectly and it looked very natural. Sometimes I’m not a fan of the dress throw or fluff photos, but it worked in this one!

I can’t wait to meet their baby goy in January!
