I’m am overjoyed to share this session with three gorgeous sisters! I first met this family when they were two sisters back at the peach tree mini sessions. Theses sisters gave me one of my favorite photos from the peach orchards the 2018 season. I again got to see them when they welcomed their newest sister, baby Jade.
This is also my very first fresh 48 session I’ve ever done and have to say that I cannot wait to offer these in the near future. Right now, I have my 4 year old in half day preschool, but when she starts school full time, i will have the ability to venture out to hospitals for fresh 48 sessions! But for now, I’m only taking a few for portfolio building. I first met mom back in early January for her stunning winter maternity session. I then met them again at CMC main for their fresh 48. Due to the flu restrictions in February, the older sisters were not allowed to visit the hospital. But I loved that we were able to focus n Mom and Dad with those first few hours with their new baby. In these photos, baby Jade is about 21 hours old. It just amazes me how much they change in the first few days! That is why I’m excited to start to offer these sessions in the future! Baby Jade was wide awake for her fresh 48 session, which I loved! We got to see her eyes wide open which is not often with little newborns Mom had set wrap and outfit fun of color. I decided to leave the photos in color for this reason. I used only natural window light, and while it was a challenge with the cloudy day, they still turned out amazing!
4 days later, the family was in my studio for a session with the older sisters. These two sisters were a dream to work with. Absolutely the sweetest, kindest girls and they love their new little sister dearly. Big sister Kylie loves to hold her and she was so ready for her pictures. We had two outfits for them but the girls loved their long flowing pink dresses the best. Next we focused on a few photos of Jade. I got got try out my new heart bowl from Chicaboo for they first time! I love this props because it is gender neutral and represents the love Mom and Dad have for their new baby. I can’t wait to use it again! We also did the dream catcher photo for this family. I redecorated the dreamcatcher with pink florals as Mom’s request. With each dream catcher session, I learn something new and find them getting better and better! We also did some purple set ups! I love purple so I’m so glad Mom request a few of these set ups! We were able to get her session in in three hours just in time for her next feeding! I’m so happy with these photos and I’m glad to provide these for the family!
