Soon be Big Brother | Gastonia NC Maternity Photographer

Soon to be big brother Enoch was one adorable ham for these maternity photos.  He was just over two  years when we took maternity photos with the family at Carolina Lavender.  I first met Enoch when he was in the womb over tow years ago!  I photographed him as a newborn, his first birthday, and now as a soon to be big brother. He was the best little boy for all three sessions and I have a feeling he will be amazing for our scheduled newborn photoshoot with his little brother.

We met at the lavender fields just at the end of the bloom.  A few days later, the lavender was harvested and all the beautiful blooms were cut down to make items such as oil, soaps, lotions etc.  I wasn’t sure if we were going to be able to photograph at the lavender fields, but it worked out and I’m so glad!!  Even though it was  a late start time for a two year old, Enoch amazingly well.  I find when kids are outside, there is so many things to look and, smell, feel, that they get a burst of energy enough for the photo session. Now after the session on the way  home and into bed is another story. Enoch had so much fun look at the flowers, bees, butterflies, birds, ducks, and of course the tractor!

For this maternity session, we did an equal amount of family, Mom and son, and photos of just Mom.  We were able to get so many sweet photos of the family and some great shots of Mom and son, some of which happen to be some of my favorites! During session, I learned that baby brother’s nick names Pan. I laughed out loud as I have never heard of that nick name for a baby! They came up with the Pan nick name from a nursery rhyme the tI cannot remember.  But it made sense when they told me!!

Enjoy these photos and be on the look out for their newborn session!
