I have had the privilege of seeing sweet Maddison grow from newborn, first birthday to 18 months!  For her 18 m month session, we chose a petite mini session since she is now on the move!  Sometimes, for young children, a petite mini session is perfect.  Petite – mini sessions are about 20-30 mins, which is more than enough time for a busy 18 moth old!

For this petite session, I was able to randomly spot a perfect location in Stanley, NC.  I was driving with my kids in Stanely and spotted this field filled with wild flowers.  I immediately pulled over and check it out.  I took a few test shots with my daughter and showed Mom the location and she fell in love!  Sometimes, the perfect locations are not planned.

We met close to sunset, and let sweet little Maddison do her thing! At first she started of upset, but when I pulled out my teal chair and box, she perked right up!  She enjoyed climbing onto the chair and sitting in the box as we were able to get some sweet shots out of her.  With 18 moth olds, you have to be quick with the camera, so I had my shutter speed up for the entire session to catch these sweet moments.  I love how this petite mini session turned out!
