I had the pleasure of photographing this absolutely beautiful newborn baby sister a few weeks ago. She is just 10 days new here!  I am just in love with these purple, pinks and green colors.  When I spoke with Mom over the phone, when she expressed she would like violet and purple as for some colors, I just abut leapt out of my seat!  Purple has alway been my favorite color since I was little and i was delighted to put to gather some sets for this session!

During this session, you will see no family poses.  This is because the cultural value of this family is that mother must rest for 6 weeks after delivery.  I have to say that I was so impressed with the amount of help this mother of a two year old and a newborn in her home!  I loved witnessing how their family pulled together to help one another.  Family members were helping with the older sister, making lunch, cleaning, all while new mother could rest.  It was beautiful to see this loving family at work!

For the newborn photos, we started with some sibling photos with big sister!  Big sis was a champ and she did great for her photos.  I them focused on the newborn baby and was able to get a few different set ups with her!  She was such a calm and absolutely beautiful baby!   My favorite set up is the floral flowers in a basket.  Even though it is not spring, it truly feels like a fresh spring photo.  Enjoy!
