The Maternity Portrait Experience
Pregnancy is unique for everyone but all are equally beautiful. I offer maternity sessions to document the short 9 months while you are carrying your child. Family and couple photos are included with each session, as is access to my growing collection of maternity gowns. It is best to photograph your baby bump about 32-34 weeks. Book your session today!
Your Maternity Session
- Outside location. Depending on the time of year, desired. photos, and where you live, I have some recommendations of popular photography locations.
- Location fees/permits.
- Family and couple portraits.
- Beautiful portraits of Mom.
- Access to my maternity gown selection.
- 1-3 outfit changes.
- Sessions are roughly 2 hours at sunset.
A typical Maternity Session includes
1.Family Portraits
Family and sibling photos are always included with each maternity session. This is a special time to document your growing family.
2. Couple Portraits
This may be your first child, and this will be the last time it will be just the two of you. This photo session is so special because it will focus on you as a couple, as well as the anticipation of what is yet to come!
3. Mom Portraits
The star of the show is Mom! We will capture this unique time in your live. Yes you feel big, heavy, tired, but you are only able to have this little life inside your body for a short time. It is truly a special time.
4. Portraits in a variety of outfits.
Want to try a few outfits, no problem! We can plan up to 3 outfit changes for your special session. You will have access to my growing maternity gown closet. A complimentary gown try-on is included with each maternity session booking. If fancy maternity gowns are not your thing, no worries, together we will plan clothing that suits your style.
5. Portraits to display
The most important part is deciding how you will display your memories. Choose from canvases, prints, framed portraits, matted portraits and albums! Each artwork is printed on archival materials from professional labs.
