Around the begging July, the Sunflowers bloom in McConnells SC and it is a sight to see!!   The Sunflowers are planted to attracted doves and other animals for hunting in the fall.  But in the Summer, the sunflower blooms are breath taking.  I love the size and the bold color of the sunflower blooms.  It a flower that is not like any other flower.  Big, Bold and beautiful!  When I heard this Momma was expecting her third baby, I knew a maternity session at the sunflowers would be amazing.

The Sunflower field itself is not easy.  If you don’t like to sweat, and despise bees, red dirt, and a walk, then this is not the session for you.  But if you are willing to brave nature, then the photos are absolutely amazing!!  This family was brave and ready to take on nature.  It happen to be a cooler evening, but still extremely humid.  The sweat was streaming down our backs and faces.  But in these photos, it looks like a beautiful summer evening. 🙂  We started with some family photos and snuck in a few photos of the kids as well.  My favorite photos of Mom nestled in the sunflowers.  We added a fun sun hat for a few shots and I love how they turned out!
