This lovely and petite baby girl is my smallest newborn I have had to date and she rocked her session! She was born about 4 lbs  15 oz and 19 inches long.  She as up to 5lbs when I went to photograph her at 12 days new!

This little girl is so loved by her Mom and Dad.  I first met Mom and Dad for their maternity session back in the end of July and I could see that these two were going to be great parents to their beautiful girl.  Shortly after the session, Dad had mentioned that he wanted a photo of his girl in a tutu.  I made sure to deliver this special request with this hand made tutu specific for baby girl’s size and colors of her nursery.   It turned out so beautiful and sweet!  She looks like a little ballerina 🙂  If she is anything like my little 2 yr old girl, she will LOVE wearing tutus any chance she gets!

During the newborn session, we started with some posing on my bean bag and in a lovely basket.  We then moved into a photo with their first baby, Zoey the Great Dane mix.   Zoey is such a sweet heart!  She listened so well for her photo and I was able to capture a precious image with her little sister!  For the baby’s safety, the photo with Zoey was done in two images that I merged into one.

I then eded the session with some parent poses and some candid images in the nursery.   I absolutely adore their nursery with the soft greens and blush colors.
