Future Little Golfer Grayson was all smiles for his first birthday session.  He was seriously the easiest baby to get to smile!

Mom had a connection at a local golf course, and we were able to do the session on the putting practice green!  For this session, we met first thing in the morning, just al little after 6:00 am.  It was super early, since in July the sun rises early and sets late. But we were done by 7:30 am just as the golfers started to arrive.

We first started with family photos on the green.  The sun was just starting to rise.  It happened to be an extremely humid morning.  My poor lens kept fogging over. I had to wipe it down numerous times for this session.

Then we moved into the cake smash portion. Auntie had made this adorable golfing outfit for Grayson and it was perfect!  One shot I wanted to get was of Grayson holding on to the putting flag.  These flags were short, just the right size for Grayson.  We got some great smiles so this photo was super easy to get.  Then we moved into the cake smash portion of the session.  Grayson did eat much of his cake, but he did have fun getting his hands dirty. Given the nature of a golf course, we were very careful he did not crawl off the blanket with his messy hands and feet.

We tried to end the session with a bath, but he was not having it.  The water was probably too cold after being out all night.
