I have had the pleasure of photographing this growing family 4 time since 2016. I first met this family when they were expecting their twin boys in March of 2016. I photographed their twin newborn session, first birthday for the twins, and now their brand new baby boy born in late December. They have 4 boys under the age of 4! That is one busy house but one that is full of love.
For the newborn session, Mom wanted a few photos with a Where the Wild Things are Theme. She purchased a little crown and stuffed wild things. I managed to find a raccoon tail hat and used it as the tail of “Max’s” costume. I just love how the photos turned out. The Where the Wild Things Are photos are classy, yet I feel represent the story. I hope we can do a Where the Wild things Are first birthday session! After the themed photos, I took some more traditional shots using neutral colors. I’m loving neutral color sets ups more and more!
We also incorporated a special suitcase that was originally used by their Great Grandparents on their honey moon! I first used the suitcase for the twins newborn session and first birthday, and I was so excited to use it again for the newest addition’s session! I indcluded a photo of the twins newborn session in the suitcase. For the sibling photo with the suitcase, we needed to use some creativity. Children at almost two have very little attention span. So for a photo with all the siblings, I took each brother separately, even the newborn, and combined them all together in photoshop. It took some time, but I’m so happy to be able to give a photo to Mom and Dad of all their babies together.
I hope you enjoy these photos, and maybe I will see that suitcase again 🙂
