It may have felt like July for this first day of fall, but that did not stop this new Mom and Dad from achieving some beautiful fall feel photos!  For this first day of fall maternity session, we met at Aw Shucks Farm in Monore NC.  I had never been to Aw Shucks Farm but I was pleasantly surprised!  Not only is it a great place for some photos, it is a overall great place for the family!  Maybe someday I will take my kids there.  Though, its an hour drive for me from Gaston County, so we probably will stick to the farms close to us!

For this session, we first started with some photos near the animal barn.  It was a small little barn, or shack, but we still got that barn wood rustic feel.  Mom wore a mustard cardigan and simple jeans which had the perfect first day of fall feel.  Even though it was close to 90 degrees, and humidity, she rocked those jeans and cardigan like it was a cool crips fall day.

Next, we changed outfits into beautiful Merlot color dress by Chicaboo!  We chose this dress together and it ended up being the perfect choice for this session! The merlot color went perfectly with this old rusty truck on the property!  Mom also loved this dress for it’s soft fabric and super comfortable feel. It also made for some stunning photos!

Last we took some photos by the pond and corn maze.  We did not venture to fall into the corn maze just because we did not want to get lost so close to sunset!

I absolutely love these photo on the first day of fall.  Now we, just need to feel like fall.
