Seeing these familiar faces for their family photos is always a treat. I first these beautiful faces for their little girl’s newborn photos and her first birthday. I have been honored to photograph this family for a few years now!

For this session, we met at Anne Springs Greenway.  It was an absolute perfect fall day!  Crisp air, high 60s, low 70s, and some beautiful sunlight!  We couldn’t ask for a better day.

Now that their sweet little girl is 2  years old, photo sessions become a bit more of a challenge.  I have to be creative and ready with 2 and 3 year old.  This is the age where they do not take direction well.  With 2 and 3 year olds, I grab my shots whenever I can and I keep my camera clicking.  They certainly have some of the cutest faces and when I get the shot , it makes it all worth it!!

The first 10 mins is usually when I get my best photos.  In this case, sweet girl needed a little time to warm up, and boy did she warm up!!  Towards the middle of the session, I got some great genuine smiles out of her and her brother.  With families with young kids, I like to incorporate some games and lots of tickles.  Typically a good tickle gets a sweet smile, and a throwing in the air with Dad always gets some great shots.

This big brother is always a good boy, and today was not exception!  He is so sweet to his little sister.  We did have a few grass stains on the knees, but nothing a little photoshop can’t fix!

This family session was so fun full of tickles, races, and games.   I always love seeing these beautiful faces!
