I love this clean and simple  cake smash session  featuring adorable Wyatt.  In a way, clean and simple is much harder to edit than a set filled with props.  But I always love the outcome.

We first met at a nearby park for some quick family photos.  I always love the opportunity to photograph the whole family at these sessions. Even though it requires another location ( though it is close to my home studio).  It is always a nice to have some family photos with your new one year old. Mom and Dad worked hard that first year!!

After the family photos, we headed back to my home studio for the cake smash portion.  Wyatt loved the balloons, so much it was hard to get him to stop playing with them and even look at his cake!  Eventually, with a few puffs in the back of the cake, he got his hands in it.   Then after a bit, I gave him my wooden spoon and it was all over.  He smashed that cake with the spoon. He had so much fun and we got another 15 min of photos!  Then came the fun bath.  He had so much fun getting all clean and splashing around.  He nearly splashed  all water out of the basin!

I’d say this clean and simple session was terrific!
