I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet girl and just about three weeks old. This lovely new family of three came to the studio and this sweet girl rocked her session!  At three weeks, newborn sessions can become a bit more challenging with longer awake periods.  But this sweet girl was for the most part sleepy most of her session!!

For this all girl session, Mom brought a few sweet props she wanted to include.  One was an adorable head band made by her friend, and another was a sweet little tutu made by her cousin.  I love incorporating special props or blankets, or heirlooms into a session.  The sweet headband was perfect and matched my pink fluffy fur my Mimosa House perfectly!!

Along with traditional pink colors, mom wanted to also include lilac.  All purples are my favorite colors.  If its purple, I love it.  So whenever a client request a purple color, I silently squeal inside.  We started with a basket pose surrounded by lilac flowers.  We then transitioned onto the bean back for a dream catcher photo.  This dream catcher is the fifth time I’ve done this photo and I’m thinking I will be doing much more!! It’s becoming a favorite. I do love to make the dreamcatcher a bit different for each client.  For this Mom, she wanted just soft pink florals and it worked perfectly with the floral headband made by her friend! We then transitioned into photos on my bean bag with the lilac drop. I think this color looks beautiful with this sweet girl.  Mom and I had fun added all accessories, but we did include a simple photo for Dad..which I happen to love!

Last we took some parent poses.  Mom indicated she wanted some photos of sweet girls eyes.  Both Mom and Dad have dark brown eyes and their sweet girl as of now, has blueish grey/hazel eyes.  I thought it was so neat and I had not see that in a baby yet.  I was not sure if she was going to be awake but just at the end of the session, she woke up and I was able to capture this beautiful eyes!
