On the blog today is a new family of six welcomed a precious girl!  With three older brothers, this sweet girl will have lots of protection and a bit of ruff and tumble. I first met this new family of six for their maternity sessions just a few weeks before Mom delivered.  Much to Mom’s surprise, unlike her three son’s, new baby girl came a few days late!  She just needed a little extra time to cook.

This precious girl is absolutely gorgeous with her jet black hair, long dark eyelashes, and eyebrows!!!! Usually newborns have very faint eyebrows, but this beautiful girl already has some dark eyebrows!  She has Dad’s dark hair, eyelashes and Mom’s shaped face, mouth nose.  She is a perfect mix between them!

This session was an in home photoshoot. With this family of six, and three boys, we started with some brother photos.  Mom had picked out some fun security t-shirts for the boys to wear and I love how it turned out!  Then we moved into some more classic photos with the brothers.  The boys did amazing!  They were typical boys, running around, climbing, etc, but when it came down to holding baby sister, they calmed down and were so sweet with her!  We were able to get some beautiful photos of the four kids.

Next we moved into family photos in the master bedroom.  This house had amazing natural light, so I used it as much as I could for this session!  The master bedroom  had great window light on a bright sunny day.  That makes my job so much easier if I do not have to set up another studio light! We were able to get some sweet photos of this family of six.

Parent photos were next on the list so Dad could take older brother to football practice.  To move quickly through parent photos, I will usually keep the baby wrapped and snuggly.  Baby sister slept like a champ and was wonderful through the first half of the session.  We got some beautiful photos with Mom and Dad, again using their amazing window light!

Last, we moved into poses of baby girl!  Let me tell you, she was absolutely amazing!!  She let me wrap her , unwrap her, pose her and she slept the entire time!  We got some beautiful shots of her and I could not be more thrilled with this session!  While I took photos of the baby, Mom was able to take care of the three boys and even clean up the house a little!  Little baby girl didn’t wake up until I was done with the photos!  Mom’s biggest request was pink, pink, pink.  With three boys, she was excited to add some pink into her photo galleries.  So I brought everything pink I had. I also threw in a quick Christmas photo.  This session is all girl, florals, pearls, and pink and I love it!
