The beautiful warm Carolina autumn was in full swing for this Maternity/ Family session.  We met at the Anne Springs Greenway on a warm autumn afternoon and the sunlight was perfect for this session.  This soon to be family of 4 was so sweet and I look forward to meeting their little boy this winter!  As per Dad’s request, hopefully in December!  As we all know, babies have their own agendas and baby boy will come when he is good and ready!

We started with some photos by the cabin.  The navy blue, red and warm tones in their clothing was perfect for this wooden rustic backdrop. While taking some photos of just Mom and Dad, I noticed their daughter climbing in the tree.  I quickly grabbed the moment and snuck some photos of her climbing the tree:)  The candid photos always tend to be my favorite!

Soon to be big sisters was perfect for this session!  She has a beautiful genuine smile and I was able to get some great candid photos of her!  The wagon was probably her favorite, but she also enjoyed racing, riding on dad’s shoulders, being thrown in the air, and swung by her Mom and Dad.  With young children, I like to keep the session interesting by incorporating some “games”  When young kids are involved, we typically have the first 10 to 15 mins, and then they start to get board.   I like to include some games into the sessions to keep the kids engaged while also achieving some sweet candid photos.  A special big thanks to my Mom who assisted me for this session!
