I’ve loved seen this family become a family of three to four!  I have know them as a family of three for about a year before the fourth member arrived this past August.  I’ve enjoyed getting to know them as a family of three and I look forward to see them mold into a family of four!

This session was done in the families sweet little home.  Mom chose the colors of grey, mint, and an pop of orange to go with her decor in her home.  I always encourage to pick colors that match your style and how you like to decorate in your home.  Ultimately, my wish is for these photos to be displayed on your walls, so I always say to pick colors you love and have always loved, or neutrals like grey, creams, ivory, that never go out of style. I absolutely love the color of Mint on this little boy with his hint of red hair!  It looks so good on him!

We started with some family photos.  We took a few inside, but my favorite photos happened outside on their sweet little porch!  It was a nice warm day, and the light was perfect and soft on the porch, and big brother did much better outside than inside!  I has the family sit on a sweet bench, painted in Mom’s favorite color of Mint, and stepped back and watch for interaction.  Big brother was being so sweet with his new little brother and we were able to get some beautiful candid moments with this family of four.

Next we moved back inside and took some portraits of Mom and Dad using the beautiful natural light in their living room.  Last, we moved into poses of just the new baby.  He was a good little man for me and even gave me the sweetest smile!!  Catching a smile is not easy, but when I can catch one at the right moment, it is the sweetest!
